Our Services
We specialize in residential radon testing and mitigation, offering dependable, affordable solutions tailored to your home. As a local, family-run team, we take the time to do the job right—because we’re not just serving customers, we’re serving our community.
Radon Testing
Radon testing is the first and most important step in understanding the air quality inside your home. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can seep into homes through the foundation. It has no color, odor, or taste—so the only way to detect it is through proper testing.
What You Can Expect:
- Accurate, EPA-compliant testing equipment
We use professional-grade monitors and testing methods to ensure reliable results. Our tests typically run for 48 hours and provide a detailed report on average radon levels in your home. - Clear explanations and honest guidance
Once testing is complete, we walk you through the results in plain language. If your radon levels are below the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/L, we’ll let you know and recommend any follow-up if needed. If your levels are elevated, we’ll help you understand what’s next—and how we can help.
We believe in transparency, not fear tactics. You’ll never be pressured into mitigation unless it’s truly necessary.
Radon Mitigation
If your home has elevated radon levels, the next step is mitigation. Our radon mitigation systems are custom-designed and installed with precision to safely reduce radon concentrations to acceptable levels.
Our Mitigation Process:
- Assessment & Planning
Every home is different, so we begin by evaluating your foundation type, layout, and airflow. From there, we design a mitigation system that’s efficient, discreet, and tailored to your home’s structure. - Professional Installation
We typically install a sub-slab depressurization system, which involves drilling a small hole in the basement or crawl space slab and running a PVC pipe from the soil to the outside of the home. A quiet, energy-efficient fan pulls radon gas from below the house and vents it safely above the roofline. - Sealing & Finishing
We also seal potential entry points where radon might be entering—such as cracks in the floor or gaps around sump pits. We prioritize clean, neat workmanship so your system not only functions well but looks professional too. - Post-Installation Testing
After your system is installed, we conduct a follow-up test to verify that it’s working effectively and that radon levels have been reduced to a safe range.
